SHOCK CELL
SHOCK CELL
Shockcell utilizes rubber as its energy-absorbing component. The inner tube and outer tube are connected via rubber units, which absorb and transfer axial, radial, and multi-angular loads generated during vessel berthing. This effectively reduces the impact response on the structures of offshore platforms (such as offshore wind turbine platforms, oil production platforms, etc.).

Compared with traditional fenders that primarily absorb longitudinal energy, shockcell can absorb the load energy generated when a vessel berths at a 30-degree angle and withstand a wider range of load angles.

It absorbs more energy than ordinary fenders and can withstand multi-directional loads.

The product is lightweight, reducing steel consumption while alleviating the load on jackets, thereby lowering construction costs.
