SKIRT PILE GRIPPER
SKIRT PILE GRIPPER

Skirt Pile Grippers are highly important auxiliary devices in the leveling and grouting operations of offshore platforms or wind turbine jackets. They help level the jackets to the correct position and establish grouting connections to ensure safety, improve grouting quality, and reduce installation costs.

Skirt Pile Grippers are basically composed of thick-walled sleeves, hydraulic cylinders, and a control system. Within the entire assembly, there are individual clamping hydraulic cylinders that are radially symmetric, moving radially inward during operation. Hardened steel surfaces (steel jaws) are mounted at the front end of these hydraulic cylinders, which generate a "bite" when in contact with the pile to form clamping force.
