1. Product Description The Hotstab are used to provide power for hydraulic tools, convey fluids, perform chemical injections, and monitor pressure. There are two API specifications covering the standards for ROV underwater plugs and sockets. API 17H (also known as ISO 13628-8) and API 17D. The hotstab includes a flexible T-shaped handle, a body, and detachable tips, which are installed to prevent damage to the socket in the event of an oblique angle insertion. The tips and handle are easy to replace when damaged. The plug body is coated with a coating that is impregnated with molybdenum and Teflon, facilitating insertion and eliminating any glare from cameras. There are versions for panel mounting and flange mounting.
2. Design Standards: API 17H/D and customized according to customer requirements to meet API 6A requirements.
3. Materials: S316 or super duplex stainless steel S32760.
4. Pressure Rating: Up to 20,000 PSI.
