Suitable for leveling and pile clamping in offshore grouting construction

HPGS Series Pile Gripper

Subsea Technology Solutions

GRIPPER

Gripper are very important auxiliary devices in leveling and grouting operations for offshore platforms or wind turbine jacket piles. They help to level the jacket pile to the correct position and establish grouting connections to ensure safety, improve the quality of grouting, and reduce installation costs. After the piling clamps have done their work, the device can be temporarily released in adverse weather conditions, thereby reducing the risks during the installation process.

The piling clamp is basically composed of a thick-walled sleeve, a hydraulic cylinder, and a control system. In the entire assembly, there are individual clamping hydraulic cylinders that are radially symmetrical, which move radially inward during operation. The front end of this hydraulic cylinder is equipped with a hard surface of hardened steel (steel claws), which will "bite" when in contact with the pile, forming a clamping force.
Each gripper has a subsea control panel that allows local pressurization and system isolation operation.
Different types are available based on the application:
C-Type - Suitable for offshore engineering project applications, meeting API and other international standards.
S-Type - Suitable for wind turbine jacket pile applications.

Product Features:
The material of the piling clamp has good pressure resistance and corrosion resistance to meet the special requirements of the marine environment.
The structural design of the piling clamp ensures its stability and reliability during the grouting process, as well as emergency operations when necessary.
Considering the complexity of construction conditions, the operation of the piling clamp is simple to reduce construction difficulties and improve construction speed.
Approved by third-party classification societies.
