The driving device is integrated with the slewing mechanism of the chute. Based on calculations using currently available information, 18 electric winches are selected to guide and pull the ropes of the rainproof cover. Among them, the cable chosen for each electric reel needs to undergo calculation to meet the requirements of mechanical tension and wind load during the material loading process.
The rain cover is made of high-tech polymer materials. This fabric features high wear resistance, high tensile strength, explosion resistance, extreme lightness, and water resistance. This material can be inflated to keep the fabric in a taut state. Even when installed over cargo hold openings of different sizes, it can prevent water from entering.
SKIRT FIXING SYSTEM
The skirt of the rain cover is fixed to the deck by means of an inflatable airbag. The fans installed near the driving device inflate the airbag through flexible pipelines. After inflation, the skirt airbag is fixed to the ship's hatch through multiple fixing points.
The system is equipped with an electrical control system to achieve tension control of the ropes. The visualization system informs the operator of the loading quantity. A 3D graph is generated in real time and displayed on the operating screen.
